Your blood type may affect your risk for PCa mortality

It seems that men with blood type AB are significantly less likely to develop lethal PCa than men with the other blood types (O, A, or B).

Blood types occur as: O=45%, A=40%, B=11%, AB=4% of the population. So at AB=4% not a whole lot of people are affected by this discovery, but the significant question to ask is why would this be the case at all for any of the blood types?

Perhaps this will open up another avenue for research which may yield valuable results.

Until then it's just another mystery wrapped inside a riddle within the enigma that is PCa.

I believe Asians have a higher percentage of the AB blood group, which might also explain lower risk of PCa.
So is this risk associated with blood type or differences in ethnic genetics or diets?
