Lisa, that is sobering. Glad it otherwise went well for you two. Your presence with him I'm sure was very comforting in that alien environment. So many in the infusion center are facing end-stage situations, and aggressive chemo regimens. Even though you're in that facility, the treatment Frank's receiving is for a far different reason. Todd1963 has blogged about
how much he dislikes the infusion center. If you haven't read his blogs, you owe yourself the pleasure of doing so. He's amazing.
Anyway, take courage that your situation isn't that dire, and likely won't be for a long, long time. Frank may very well get a good response to the hormone therapy, and that can last for years depending upon the individual. Even then, many treatments are available, and more coming on line all the time.
There is hope! You can do this.
