I just wanted to check in and say hi. We are all doing well up her. There are lots of mud slides all around us but we are very happy we don't love near the base of a mountain. We have been busy doing home remodeling and prepping for the summer. I haven't posted anything here or on
My blog except for today. Miss you guys

Hey Todd. How close do you live to where the current landslide disaster is going on? Couldn't imagine a wall of mud as big as I have seen described in the news. Makes we glad we live on the top of a hill, not the bottom.

David, I live a long way from there but when I was a young buck I spent time there as friends were working on that highway

Just glad you are far from the danger area, but my heart is out to those lost in the disaster. I see little hope of any survivors at this point, being that they are covered in one square mile of mud and mire. If any one still comes out of it alive, it will truly be a miracle.

One of the, either survivors or rescuers, made a comment on the news the other day. He said, tearfully, it is not so much the devastation of the town and the loss. It is the devastation he is seeing in the folks who have lost someone, that grinds. Todd glad all is well with you and yours.
