Protonix and Frequent Urination

I am about 14 months post robotic prostatectormy.  Doing well in the zero club.  However, I have frequent urination.  I take protonix for reflux and noticed recently that frequent urination is listed as a side effect, not a common side effect but one that is at least on the list of side effects.  I did a little experiment....stopped taking it for a few weeks and my frequent urination seemed to decrease substantially.  Has anyone else here had a similar reaction to Protonix and, if so, are you awawre if there is a different reflux med that doesn't cause frequent urination?  Thanks.

Let me/all of us know what happens when you go off pantoprazole. I'm curious to see if you have the same results as I did. Maybe it's all in my head?

I am interested in other observations too! I've been taking pantroprozole for many years and I pee more than anyone I ever knew. With PC and radiation my nocturia was as much as 22 times/night. In the last month or so I successfully got off of PPIs. For the last week, I've been peeing only 2 or 3 times a night, which is an enormous improvement for me. I've been racking my brain and the differences are another workout or so each week and no PPIs. That's all I can think of. So, this isn't science and it is still early but it is a fairly remarkable observation. Any other observations are truly welcome!
