The NY Times came out with an article describing a study indicating chemo should be given earlier than current practice for metastatic cancer or for cancer that has returned after primary treatment. It's also interesting that they indicated early screening helped keep down the number of patients with an initial diagnosis of metastatic cancer, but those numbers could increase due to discussions about reducing screening.
