When I was cT3b I found advice and inspirtation in others on here, and much-sought after information from many studies. Post op T4N1Mx seems harder to find those studies and those members with the same staging (although you're all inspirational to me, the need to share our experiences is important to me).
Appointments are starting to come in now. I get my catheter out at the weekend, and LHRH analogue injection next week, then a trip to the incontinence clinic, the ED clinic, a CT scan, and hopefully soon an appointment with an Oncologist.
The pathology report on the prostate and samples taken should make interesting reading. I already know the cancer has spread but the word 'extensive' from the surgeon has me running scared. Hopefully this report will shed light on exactly what is happening in my pelvis.
They took the staples out last week but a 2 inch section just split right open, and now smaller sections of the 6" incision are doing the same. I've got district nurses coming and changing the dressings but considering the size of the 'hole' when the staples failed (just under the navel) I can see this taking quite some time to heal.
I haven't had a PSA test post op although I just started Bicalutamide on 29th May (day after op).
