Walt, the positive margins will actually help you if/when you have radiation. I had negative margins but my PSA rose after surgery, so there was always the question whether it had metastasizes or was still local. If I had had positive margins, chances are that was where the PSA was coming from. In either case, if you have radiation, have it before your PSA rises to 0.2. I had SRT at 0.22 and it was successful. My Gleason was 4+3 with a tertiary 8, so it may as well have been an 8. Personally I don't think it matters much if you have the radiation as adjuvant or salvation, as long as it's before 0.2. Also, I didn't use HRT, just went into radiation cold turkey, so when my PSA came down I knew it was from the radiation and not being masked by the HRT. Good luck with whatever you choose.
