Rise Post IMRT

Egads, I was so tired when I initially posted this today. Woke up from a nap and saw the error(s). Here is the corrected info, specifically some dates and #'s post IMRT. Thanks and apologies to those who commented so far.

Gleason 8, PSA 30, 5 years since Rad. Prost.
4/12 - .12
5/12 - IMRT
9/12 - .04
12/12 - .04
3/13 - .02
8/13 - .02
12/17/13 - .02
3/6/14 -.04 (pre-op physical for minor surgery by GP and asked him to throw in PSA test...uses same lab as radiology)

Is it time to begin hormone treatment, chemo, etc.? Any new therapies on the horizon?

Don't know how to react; have not forwarded new PSA reading to radiologist. Feeling out of sorts lately and not sure if it's cancer related.

Any advice would be helpful.

One option, if you can afford it, is to pay for one of the newer advanced imaging tests in an attempt to locate the source of the rising PSA. You would have to wait until your PSA reaches above 2 for it to show up. If there are fewer than 5 mets to lymph nodes and/or bones (oligometastatic) they can potentially be curatively zapped with SBRT. UKansas offers C-11 Acetate PET scans for $3,000 if paid upfront.

The latest studies suggest that it may be safe to delay beginning ADT when there is a recurrence:
