Went to urologist about my ED problem been 4.5 yrs since RP and still having ED problem.Urologist suggested take one tablet 100 mg for 2 weeks then come back to see him. Is this a high daily dose and what is the normal daily maintenance dose ?

Just after my surgery, I was put on 50mg every Monday and Wednesday (break a 100mg in half) and then a full 100 mg on Fridays then try to stimulate and erection. Now, 2 years later I just take a 100mg pill on the days we want to "play" some. I haven't heard of a daily 100mg plan.

Have you used a VED since your surgery?

My uro tried the 100mg viagra plan daily with me, but the extreme blue vision really freaked me out, so went back to Cialis.

Thanks guys for your input the 100 mg daily seems to work tried lower dose no effect my main concern is would there be any health concerns taking 100 mg every day ??

For a few weeks? Your doc seemed to not think so. If he prescribed it for life, well, then I would be concerned.

I suspect he is trying to shock your system.

Dr, put me on 20 mg daily and 100 mg on any game day. So far so good.

You'll be on a 100 a day and a review is scheduled in 2 weeks. I was on 1/4 a day and 100 on Saturday. Nothing happened -- I think it was too early; but then again it was prescribed as a maintenance dose.

The Good News is you are getting some "reaction" at 100mg and that’s GOOD!

I have been on 20mg daily as well. Had my surgery 16 months ago. I am just starting to get better. Man, I get flushed and a headache if I take more than 2.

Yes had improvement but not enough for intercourse but had to stop 100 mg daily had very bad head aches.
