Saw my new Uro today, first one who spoke English as a mother tongue. I told him I would appreciate frankness, he complied. "With your kinetics it's extremely unlikely the disease is localised." So we were able to rule out SRT which is fine with me. The only symptom I mentioned that concerned me is pain in the pelvic area, left side, which is where the EPE was located. He did a DRE and exam of the pelvic area and found nothing to excited about. Bit of a catch 22 though as a bump would have helped in location I would surmise.
He has ordered a full body bone scan and a CT scan of the pelvic region. We will discuss further treatment at the follow up.
On a side note I mentioned to him that in my research I had not come across any correlation between Gleason Score and castrate resistant PCa. He stated "higher the Gleason, higher the resistance."
Not in my signature yet: PSA 29/10/14 2.81.
Cheers, Doug
