Another 0.1 PSA at 13 months post surgery

Well, I got the results back for my most recent PSA test (13 months after surgery) and it is another 0.1 ng/ml.
My six week post surgery was undetectable and then three followups including this one is 0.1 ng/ml. Hopefully it is only some remaining prostatic tissue, I will just have to wait and see if it stays at 0.1 ng/ml or move up to the threshold for treatment at 0.2 ng/ml. Last time I spoke with my urologist he said I have a 20% chance it will stay at 0.1 or even become undetectable and 80% chance that it will slowly climb up. Hopefully if it does climb up it will do it very slowly. Either way I am prepared to have it nuked if it does climb upwards.

I have my next appoint early in January, so hopefully he can shed further insight on this.

Well, not horrible and generally good. Sorry it's at .1 but you never know it could bounce around a bit.

Still, there are worse things than a little radiation.

Here's hoping it's down on the next test.
