Does firmness increase with time?

Been gone from here for several months...nothing new to report, not that anyone would remember me.

I'm going to post a little about me as I'm not sure my stats will show below...

46 year old who had Davinci. A clean surgery and clean pathology. G6'er.

I've had usable erections from the get go. Sadly, they're nowhere near like the were pre op. Sometimes they seem firmer than others. Not sure why they randomly firm.

My question is... Can firmness increase with time? I'm about 16 months post surgery and wonder if this is as good as it'll get, or if there might be something better with time? I don't use any pills or aids to help.

Just looking for experiences positive or negative with the improvement of firmness over time.

I had a significant improvement when I reached 17 months. Most guys see improvement sometime in the 18-24 month range. I presume that varies based on age. (I was 41 when I had my surgery.)

Did you use pills as part of your rehab process?
I started with a low dose of Cialis.
My erections became firmer and firmer over time. They are equal to what it was before surgery. It often takes time and lots of "practice."

I took Cialis for one month...about 2 months after surgery. I didn't really notice any benefit, so I didn't pick up my 2nd month's worth.

How long did it take for you?

I'm sure I can live with how it is right now, as if I'd have a choice, but it is encouraging to know that things can improve even more. I was concerned that if you were able to get an erection then that was it and there would be no more than that. To know that my semi softies can firm up is encouraging. My mixed levels of firmness must have to do with excitement level at that particular time, I guess.

The answer is "yes" and "no"

NO I had firm hardons at week FIVE. The Ed Nurse told me that they would disappear and by week 8 I was as limp as a wet rag.

YES From the wet rag stage to semi firm to later firmness. It does improve; but it is not a straight line, there are plenty of dips.

I lucked out, I should have been on injections the rest of my life. The ED specialist that I went to said he sees a case or two like this a year. (He sees 2 patients every 15 minutes, so the odds aren't good) He seemed disappointed that I wouldn't be needing him anymore
