Here's something that just popped into my head. Does PCa doubling time increase over time? If so, what does it mean? Does it mean that the cancer is becoming more agressive? If it's becoming more aggressive would the gleason score change? Just random thoughts floating in my mind.

The PSADT varies with each measrement of PSA, sometimes up, sometimes down.
Here's another thread on the subject that just started

They can change and if they double more rapidly it can indicate more aggressive cancer. As I understand the Gleason score only matters at the beginning. Over time the cancer can continue to mutate and may no longer be close to the original score.

Its semantics , but if the PSA doubling time increases do you mean it doubles less often or more often?
e.g. if doubling time goes from 1 year to six months, would you say the doubling time decreases?

Thanks JNF.
Robert C. You are correct regarding semantics. Good thing I am not a lawyer. I suppose I should have said something like "double more rapidly."
