Flomax...

I don't think Flomax has anything to do with the color, assuming you're referring to your happy ending. (Go DeWayne!) Seems to me that's some residual blood in there.

For my part, having HDR and an IMRT combo, I have no ejaculate. That said, I was on HT before and after my procedure, so I had little interest in testing out the equipment as soon as you have been doing. Perhaps, I still would have had ejaculate at that point.

Re Flomax...I took it for 6-12 months or so (I can't really remember). At first once a day, then twice a week and finally once a week when I realized I could pee just fine without it. You might want to see if you can start weaning yourself off of it.

I'm an LDR guy, but it sees to me like I took Flomax for about 2-3 months. The nurse from the clinic would call me every couple weeks to see how I was doing, and she kept cutting the dosage until it was done completely.
Ditto Chask on the 'coloration'. You will flush your system rather quickly.

In my case, the basalmic vinegar colored ejaculate continued for about 1 month post HDR. I stopped taking the Flomax after 2 weeks, because it didn't seem to help.

It's probably time for us to come clean with you. During HDR brachy when they insert those catheters in your prostate, they only pretend to be adding radiation. In reality, studies have shown balsamic vinegar to be equally effective and with fewer SEs.

Have you had a PSA test post-HDR?

My follow-up appt. is next week. What do they do at that?
