Post SRT Appointment

Well this WED I have my post SRT meeting with my RO...a little apprehensive to the results but sure hoping for good news. I think he plans on running tests? So I am sure this will include another PSA....so I am sure I won't have the results then. Ended up doing 37 treatments over 9 weeks finished up the second week of DEC.

Had an unexpected phone call from my URO on Sunday checking up on me. We had a good discussion on how my SRT went and the lack of progress on my incontenence and agrees that additional measures will probably have to be undertaken...sounds like another surgery will be in my future...will suck but the end results will be worth it! Sure tired of leaking ready to get my life back...


On another note keep my little brother Ichabod in your thoughts he is about a week out from his RALP next WED the 4th...I am flying out on the 3rd to spend a few weeks to help him and his family out.

My post surgery pathology is similar to yours and it looks like sooner or later I might end up with SRT and I was wondering how you tolerated the procedures?

I would think you'd move on to the uro from here. What's left for the RO to do? It will either have worked or not, and if not, the uro will advise on the next step. But I'm only in the middle of my SRT, so I don't know how it works. But I'm not expecting to see the RO again, don't know what it would be for. And good luck, I hope you're done!

Had blood drawn will get PSA results back tomorrow...will follow up with URO again next too...hoping my numbers are going down ended up taking 6,600 rads worth of radiation...I think that's rather high amount...next stop AUS?
