Daily 5mg Cialis and Bloo'dy boogers (Crusty Mucus).

I'm 15 months post RRP. For spontaneity I decided to try 5mg Cialis daily. First its bloo'dy expensive $AUD150.00 for 28 tablets.

Took them for 3 days straight and noticed "crusty blood infused boogers".

I took a week off, and my nose recovered. I started again two days ago -- and apart from its intended effects which are good, my nose is crusty and blood'ied again.

The lit mentions nose bleeds as side effects(SE). I was just wondering if these symptoms disappear with continued use? I did not have the same SE using the 20mg tablets in the first few months post RRP.

Any thoughts?

I have been on 5 mgs daily for about six months and also have been very dry nose with some bloody boogers too! Worth the SE because it does seem to help some with ED still very leaky, so font use it as much as I'd like lol

Having been a Cialis user for 6 months, do the SE's disappear after a while, or do things improve as the body gets used to Cialis (less dryness of the nose)?

PSA,

Yeah it has been about the same for the last few months kinda thought it was do to dry conditions in the house and low humidity, but I am sure it's related to the drugs

I'm gonna give the 5mg Cialis a miss for a while. I took 5mg Cialis two nights in a row and last night I woke up at 2:30am with a terrible nose bleed.

And to think I paid $AUD150 for these tablets and I've only used 7 so far. I might keep the rest of the 5mg Cialis for a RAINY DAY! Its back to Viagra!

I've been taking 5mg Cialis daily for 5 years, and have not seen an SE of that nature.

In my first few months post RRP I used the 20mg Cialis tablets with none of these side effects; its just using these 5mg ones.

There might be a threshold. It might be that the 5mg does not sufficiently vasolidate the vein for the expected increase in blood flow. The cases of epistaxis and Cialis are few and far between but this SE has been recorded (see informahealthcare.com/doi/abs/10.1080/00016480410022912)

Well, I'll be danged. I have just gone through a 1 year+ bout of nose bleed misery. Even ended up in the emergency room one night before my catheter was removed. It was our 1st time attempting to go out to eat after surgery, and about the time the steak was put in front of me I started one of my Grand Mal Hemorrhages into my plate. After I still could not get this one stopped after 2 hours, it was off to the ER and a major nose packing.

I have lost count of the nasal cauteries and scopes I have had done at the ENT office over the last year. I was one of their toughest cases. I was using the AYR gel they recommended but to no avail.

about 1.5 months ago I found a product called Ponaris and have had no more bleeds, knock on wood.

Now here is the thing: I really think this problem started before I started on Cialis 5 mg daily about 1 year and 3 months ago, about the same time i found out my PSA was way up. But, it was also only getting worse and worse, and somehow I missed this as a possible SE of Cialis. Apparently more, or only, daily, not PRN/as needed?

What about Viagra?

EDIT: The one consistent SE I have had, that I knew I had, from daily Cialis is all day long heartburn. It always starts within a day or so of starting back up, and goes back to the normal occasional heart burn once I quit. But if I had known this I think that would have kept me from taking it for rehab, at least daily or at least until the nose bleeds get sorted out. I will be off it for good now most likely, especially daily, if anything I will go back to Revatio(sildenafil). Still, it may have the same SEs, more or less. It bankrupts you anyway.
