Hello,
We just got my dad's PSA report, two months after initiating ADT3. At the start of this round of ADT (his second, since 2001), his PSA was 15, today it is 1.74. T is at 10, DHT levels are forthcoming next week.
I'm not sure if my question makes sense, but would his numbers indicate a rather slow response in dropping the PSA, or as with everything with PC, there are no hard rules/patters, and if it's going down, it's goin' down!
We're excited about the number, we just want to know if we should be even more excited :)
Arthur
PS - He's a Gleason 7 (4+3), diagnosed back in 2001. In the fall of 2014, his PSA spiked from 0.7 to 12 in six months, CT scan showed pelvic lymph node involvement on the left side (same nodes which were enlarged right before his first round of ADT, back in 2011). Bone scans clear so far.
