Gary completed CT, bone and MRI in prep for DRibbles study in Portland. He saw his regular medonc today for luprolide injection. He had already seen results from scans and psa. Bad news..psa is now 259 and in just two months time he has developed liver lesions.
Good news...His liver functions are all completely normal. He is also still able to take part in trial despite new mets in liver. Other scans, bones and lymph unchanged.
Also learned than a has not had testosterone checked since 2011, and it was 16. Does this seem to high? I'm sure they will check it as part of lab work during study, but I'm also certain they will not want to switch from Lupton to firmagon while he is in trial, and don't even know if t level related to new mets. I truly hate this disease and the roller coaster we ride with it, but I'm grateful for the time we continue to have together to be on the ride. Updating profile again.
