Mom may go to jail for refusing circumcision of son (OT)

Granted this one is well off topic, but since urological issues are acceptable matters for discussion here, and this is one of those, more or less, it seemed worth a mention. If only for the oddity of it.

But according to the story, this boy is four years old! I've never heard of a boy that old undergoing this procedure (as well as being court-ordered to do it!).

(And then there are those who claim that circumcised men have lower PCa rates than uncircumcised men, but without producing any solid evidence that that is the case. But the article does go on to claim that lower rates of STDs, UTIs, and penile cancer are associated with circumcised males).

Yeah, I know. I figured when I started this thread that there would be some "cutting" remarks!

He'll probably never need psychotherapy.

My DIL, the mother of my only grandchild, a boy, continually posts anti-circumcision articles on Facebook. nobody responds or "likes" them. It's kind of awkward. I always wonder if she is angry at me for circumcising her husband, my son. But I don't worry about it. She is a very sweet and kind DIL, aside from being obsessed about this issue.

I've also heard of men suing their parents when they become adult over this issue.
