Does anyone know how long and how often to use the pump for therapy ?
Not for sex. The cds and booklets don't say . Also do you just pump it up and let it sit for the allotted time ? or do you pump then let air out and repeat the process / thanls

There are two things you are hoping to accomplish. You are trying to keep the erectile tissues stretched so you don't lose size and you are looking to improve the level of oxygenation. The first of these goals is served fine by the "pump it up and ignore it" strategy. It provides the most time at full stretching. But, since the blood is more or less trapped for the full duration the "pump it up once" strategy doesn't do so great for oxygenation, especially in light of the fact that VEDs only work so-so for that anyway. A VED tends to pull a mix of arterial and venous blood. So, for oxygenation it is probably better to repeatedly pump and release.

I now have an implant so I am out of the game now but what I did during the 2 1/2 years during which I was clinging to "anatomical correctness" was to use the "pump it up and ignore it" method for 20-25 minutes four times a week and to use trimix injections on the other three days a week. Trimix does a much better job of oxygenation so I was simply using the VED to maintain size.

Assuming you are looking for a VED-only regimen, and assuming you are less obsessive than I was, what you might want to do is to use your VED three times a week, with each session lasting about half an hour and involving pumping slowly to your full size three or four times (not using a ring). I have a theory that slow pumping probably improves the oxygenation of the blood since arterial blood arrives at the rate it is pumped from the heart and more-vigorous pumping will tend to draw back more venous blood.

You might want to also ask your doctor about some sort of low-dose PDE5i drug to take daily since those tend to also improve blood flow and keep the tissues healthy.
