The sentiment below is from an article on self-help that appeared in my local newspaper recently. I sort of liked it and thought it was worth sharing:
"An elder Cherokee Native American was teaching his grandchildren about life. He said to them: "A fight is going on inside me. It's a terrible fight between two wolves. One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, greed, resentment, and lies. The other wolf stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, kindness and truth. This same fight is going on inside you and inside every person." The children thought about this for a while, and then one of them asked the grandfather: "Which wolf will win?"
And the grandfather replied: "The one you feed."
