5.5 months after surgery

Still leaking but major improvement. At my worst I was wearing upto 10 depends a day. Progress has been slow and at times I've worried about permanent incontenance. During the last 3 weeks I have gone on two vacations that included a cruise. I let my hair down and enjoyed numerous adult beverages. I continue a strong exercise regimen which includes about 50 miles a week cardio and 4 days a week vigorous weight training. Now, I've been back at home for a week and strongly curtailed liquid intake and no caffeine or alcohol. This week is very encouraging. switched to jockey shorts and using about 3 Tena moderate absorbant pads daily. The pads have been only moderately wet. I'm finding I'm holding a full bladder while walking until I reach a bathroom. This week has been my best so far. What do you guys think? Have I turned a corner? I like so many of you have been so surprised at how difficult return to contenance has been. Please any comments. I sincerely appreciate your support and advice on other posts. Ed at about 50% with pleasurable orgasms and first PSA undectable.

John, definitely sounds like you are headed in the right direction. Things will likely continue to imporove for months to come, maybe even longer. Be patient and always remember that the progress will not be linear, not day to day, but week to week, month to month.

At this point You should be encouraged at the fact that you are continuing to see progress. Especially with all that drunken stupor time on the cruise LOL
