Mine is coming up soon enough. I see the vampire in 2 1/2 weeks. I can already feel, faintly, the stress that will undoubtedly build as I wait for the other shoe to drop, but hoping to get another reprieve.

I am currently on HT. Another good result, and I can finally take another HT vacation. The last one lasted only 9 months. But I can use it.

We are taking a real vacation starting the end of this month, but that's worth a separate topic.

So, feel free to post September test results/comments/expectations in this thread.

Mel y know I'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed for you. I've got a good feeling that you'll have lots to,celebrate at the wedding in October.

Mel -- went to the uro yesterday. latest test .1 cool. so at the 5-year post treatment mark I am in remission. I wish the best to you.

I get my blood drawn on the 14th, and see my Uro on the 17th. This one will determine whether I start SRT in the Fall. Actually, the only way I won't is if:

1.) It drops back to undetectable (Highly unlikely with the last 3 being detectable after 3 years in the Zero Club);
2.) It increases dramatically, in which case it is most likely distant recurrence, and SRT would not help.

So, I'm a bit anxious - the fact is, this has been worse than waiting for my first 3-month test right after surgery. Whatever happens, I have a feeling my life is about to change drastically. What a bummer, because I had finally started to become adjusted to the new normal of 3 years in the Zero Club!

Oh well. I always knew my numbers were not good for being cured. I was just hoping it would take a little longer before recurrence.

My September test is on the 15th. My August PSA was 3.54, down a bit from July. I go for a PSA test every month, one week ahead of the Dr. visit. Last time I actually got to see the results on the patient portal which is much better for me than sitting in an exam room waiting for the onco to walk in with my PSA result.

Mel, had mine done a week ago. I'm just short of 7 years out and still a zero.

I'm not a member of this club yet, but I have my 3TMRI on Sept 18th to find out if I get a membership card...

Not quite the same deal as you guys I know, but I am nonetheless 'severely puckered'!

Hope you get a vacation from the drugs...

I'm just the reverse. Been able to go nearly 3 years on a vacation, but now it's creeping up (.02 to .06 in the past 6 months). What are your trigger points to go on and off?

No specific trigger point. I think they like it to be <0.05.

My last one, 3 months ago, was 0.02. So, if it can stay in that area, fine.

If it doubles to 0.04, I'm not sure.

Once I'm off, I think if it gets above 2-2.5, then we would do a scan, perhaps a C11 choline scan. I suspect if it goes over 5, then I am back on this crap..

Just got my results a couple days ago and my psa has remained at <.1, undetectable for about 4+ years. My psa took around 13 months to reach undetectable after Salvage Radiation (SRT). Almost all of the SEs of SRT have subsided slowly.. i.e. urgency, stress leaking, lower gut pain... never a huge problem, just an irritant.

Had my PSA done on 8/31/15 so I guess that is close enough for September. PSA was sixteen and down from the 26 it was in July. I am currently undergoing Chemotherapy for a rapid rise in my PSA. On September 1, I finished the second treatment of my second cycle. Let's hope the trend continues downard.

Just did my blood work today...came back undetectable. Saw Uro, he wants me to go back in another 6 months.

<.01 for me today.

T Levels at 785.

URO put me on blood test every six months but only see him once a year!!! If it wasn't for me taking T meds I could just go to my GP that is a lot closer.


YEA - that's the third doc this year that put me on once a year...

Got the PSA result today, <0.05 undetectable. Relieved.
