I don't see that we have had any discussion of Prosta-Q on the forum but we have had some discussion of Quercetin, a supplement that is the first listed ingredient in Prosta-Q (and probably what the "Q" stands for). As far as I can see there has been one decent study of quercetin for treating prostatitis. It was a small study done in 1999 where they divided 30 guys into a treatment group and a placebo group and found that the treatment group did significantly better on prostatitis symptoms in a short double-blind study.
Most of the discussion of quercetin here on HW has been on other forums, particularly the allergies and Lymes Disease forums. People who report positive results say it helps with allergies and other mild inflamatory problems.
Since you have already treated your prostate cancer and seem to be doing well -- despite the typical PSA bounce anxiety that most radiation patients get -- I can't see any reason not to try the Prosta-Q if your doctor recommends it. If you look at its ingredients -- a bit of zinc, quercetin, cranberries, saw palmetto berries, bromelain, papain -- it seems unobjectionable although if you shopped around you could probably get the same ingredients cheaper... but that's me being a cheapskate; at a buck and a half a day Prosta-Q probably won't break you.
