Going by the lack of replies i'm guessing there aren't many UK users on here. A slightly different question then, i can buy the pharmaceutical papaverine powder over here, in fact i can get all 3 from the triple p but the others are very expensive. If i bought the papaverine powder and mixed in into say 2ml of saline for eg at 32.5mg, let it dissolve etc would that then give me the same effect as buying the stuff from over in your country? I have an exact scale here already that measures up to .001 of a gram so it is exact.

We have guys here who use bimix (papaverine and phentolamine without any alprostadil) but I don't remember anyone talking about using either of those drugs by itself. So I dunno if papaverine would work by itself. I kinda doubt it but ya never know.

The alprostadil is the most expensive part of trimix but it is also the drug that does most of the heavy lifting and it doesn't take much of it. Most formulas for trimix specify the alprostadil in micro grams and the other two drugs in milligrams. It can be very expensive per gram without being particularly expensive per dose if there is a way to buy it in the tiny amount you would need.

Of course the easiest thing would be to get over being shy about talking to your local doctors just because you know them.

Well, seems none of the UK members are on Trimix or similar, in fact hardly any have been on here in years which is a shame. Can someone tell me what their trimix quantities are as i may have to bite the bullet, head to the docs and maybe have to explain to here what Trimix is with the quantities, thanks

Last time I asked at the ED clinic (probably 18 months ago at Guys) you couldn't get trimix or bimix in the UK through the NHS.

Is there a private channel to get drugs the NHS won't cover? The parallel isn't exact but the situation in the US is similar. Most insurance companies won't cover trimix. I seem to recall that a few guys got it covered after an appeal but not many were able to do so and the rest of us pay cash for it. Generally, by the time you factor in how many doses you get per vial it is the least expensive ED treatment out there. But my insurance wouldn't pay for it at all.

@spottydog, i will though im sure i'll have the same problems with her as you've had. Apart from the GP though i've chatted to a company that deals exclusively with trimix and they do a search of all compounding pharmacies in your area. Apparently the UK don't have any and won't until at least next year so i dont think i could get some even if she did prescribe it.

@Peter, i'm not even worried about paying for it, i'd actually prefer that route than going back to my docs as i know already what she'll say. Even that pharmaceutical powder didnt pan out as they wont send me it as it has to be tracked going to another business (made me fill in a form that included a business check which im obviously not). Im at the point now i'd actually buy it from someone online with one of those iffy "we'll give you a prescription for $25" type things but cant even find those for trimix.

Edit, after looking elsewhere it was suggested that different regions have different rules as to what they can give out. I called a few local pharmacies, none have heard of or can prescribe trimix and when i asked about compounding pharmacies all 3 said there are no such things in this country so it looks like i have no chance of buying any of this in this country which just goes to tell you everything you need to know about this place.

Anyone have any other ideas (apart from a short look at ebay/amazon/chinagate im out of ideas lol(just kidding btw, i wouldnt really buy from there)).

I'm still waiting for the referral to the urologist but thought i'd ask one more time, has anyone from the UK managed to get Trimix at all and if so how? Other than that is there any way to get it from a different country to here?

Thanks Alf, i've honestly looked into every way possible. Ive even tried to find compounding pharmacies over here (specials they're called) but they refuse to even talk to me to let me know if they are capable of making this if i get a dr to write a prescription. Im being referred to a urologist but this takes ages, i know because when i was referred to a specialist about something even more important, not ED related i had to wait 8 months so i can only imagine this taking longer.

Its funny because i looked at Ireland and France as well as id be fine going over to either to meet a doc and hopefully get a script over there. Compounding pharmacies in the USA wont send outside the country though so maybe the same applies to those as well. I just cant believe how hard it is to get over here compared to the US where all you need is a script. If it wasn't so frustrating (plus the fact i actually know this works while nothing else ive tried does) it would be laughable

It would be Alf except i cant find anywhere over there either that will do this. Ive searched google etc but come up with nothing except the usual sites that sell viagra
