Most first time biopsies are transrectal ultrasound guided 12 cores. A second opinion is always in order. First step is to get a doctor you trust and can work with.
It might be time for a biopsy. You could also ask about
the PHI (prostate health index) test. That might give you more info.
and there are worse things than a biopsy.

Suggest you start a new thread that states you are looking for doctors in St Louis. You might get more replies with recommendations. Best to you in your search for good care. As many in this group will tell you— it is very important.
