Hi Jannett,
Sleep patterns can get disrupted with Hormone Therapy. I was finally prescribed a sleep aid. It is very mild, non addictive and just helps me relax enough to fall asleep at night.

I fall asleep but I'm awake about
every hour with a hot flash.

What does he say about
his problem? Is he anxious? or does he wake up hot? or cold? (Some men sleep through their hot flashes but then wake up cold and clammy because they have discarded their covers and the perspiration leaves them damp.)
Is he keeping active during the day? Load bearing exercise helps with the physical atrophy that hormones can cause (muscle and bone loss) but just keeping busy in a more ordinary sense during the day tends to help with the sleep problems at night.

I have same problem. I exercise so I'm tired and I take Benedryl about
every other night. I still get up multiple times to pee.
