5 cystograms

I had robotic surgery a month ago and since then 4 cystograms. Each time there's been improvement, but small leakage continues. Until all leakage is gone the catheter remains, although a new one was installed yesterday. In 2 weeks we have cystogram #5. I'm trying not to be discouraged, but had hoped I would have progressed further by this time. Thank you for any comments.

That is very unfortunate and I guess just goes to show that some people heal quicker (or slower) than others.

Don't be too discouraged, it will heal and then you can get rid of that catheter. Just think how good that will feel.

Rosarian - I too had 4 cystograms and my cath in for five weeks.

Many guys don't get any cystograms...get their cath out too early and get to go to the ER to have another cath put in.

Hard to say which is worse.

Hang in there. This too will pass. Hopefully your pathology was ok; that's the most important factor.
