I don't have much experience with Peter Starr except for, just now, having watched a couple of interviews with him. His advice seems sensible but I am not sure you need to go that far out into the wilds of alternative medicine to find similar sensible advice. My only advice would be to make sure to maintain that "bit of a skeptic" attitude while you explore your alternatives. And, actually, I rather dislike the word "alternative" since the valuable bits of
alternative medicine are usually more useful as
adjuncts to conventional care than as alternatives.
