bone pain after taking hormone therapy for 1.6 years

My father is taking hormone therapy since january 2015. Psa since then remained 0.01. this year in january it came as 0.4. All scans done in january 2016 were negative only MRI showed osteoporotic compression at D12 vertebrae. Now my father felling pain at back on right side. he was having bone mets initially there. Pain is on and off and occurs once in 15 days.any suggestions why is this pain? i am worried.



Diagnosed Pca in 2014 july.

PSA 8.0 at DX

Gleason 4+5
Initially seemed localised and RP was done in september 2014
december 2015 PSA was 5.0 again
Scan showed two mets on right ribs and one on D3 vertebrae
Zolodox and bicalutamide
Psa 0.01 upto january 2016
PSA 0.4 in january 2016
Doctor stopped bicalutamide only zoldox injection given
Pain felt since january two times since january 2016

What age is your father?

His PSA is progressing and he is very high risk with G9. I suggest you assure that he is being treated by a medical oncologist that specializes in PCa and can show you demonstrated success with high risk cases like your father.

He needs to be evaluated for the pain and whether there are any scans that could be useful in finding mets.

my fathers age is 62. yes but he sometimes feel pain once in month. What can be reasons for pain?
