Just received the results from my recent PSA test. It's exactly the same 0.07 as it was three months ago so we will hold off radiation and retest in July. Why would it remain the same?

nothing's growing.
Great news.
Here's hoping it stays there.

This is good. The best kind of prostate cancer is the kind that doesn't progress. Here's hoping it stays that way, celebrate 🍸🍸🍸

Good news for now! Cancer doesn't always grow at a steady rate. Sometimes it goes into stasis. PC grows slowly, except when it doesn't.

Yeah, thanks. Next test in July but the ray gun is cocked and ready to go the moment the PSA begins to rise.

Howard, it could be that you have a small amount of residual prostate tissue (benign) and the little amount of psa it produces is leveling off. you might still get a minor increase due to this but hopefully you will see no significant increases over time. In my case psa kept going up from undetectable to 0.11 before i pulled the trigger on hormone therapy and will start radiation next week
good luck
