Any other mets, other than the spot on his liver? Was it biopsied? Are they sure it's a met?

They said no chemo for now, as he is in good shape
Being in good shape is a reason to do chemo now, not a reason to avoid it. But whether it's useful depends on the answer to my first question. It would be unusual to have a PSA of 170 with no evidence of mets on bone scan or CT.
Xgeva may prevent bone fractures if he's been diagnosed with bone mets, but you don't mention any. Are the bisphosphonates maintaining his bone density?
