Hello All,its been 3 weeks since my last CyberKnife/SBRT radiation 5 treatments.Im doing fine.

Urinary: Maybe get up 1 time a night to pee.Good flow,no burning or anything else.

Rectal: No more blood on toilet paper.Pressure on rectum to crap is gone.

Sexual:My semen seems to be getting less,expected.Orgasms are the same as before rad.Still taking my Sildenafil (viagra) daily.

Eating healthy,in good shape,dont work out but always on the go.A lot of nice weather is upon us and will hit the trails soon. I hope all my CK brothers are doing well. SemperFi,0311

Good deal! Not to jinx it, but it sounds like the worst is over and it wasn't too bad. Your peeing will probably continue to improve as your prostate shrinks (I never get up to pee at night anymore). On the average in most studies, urinary symptoms get better than baseline. Keep working it as often as possible (tell your wife it's doctor's orders) - you don't want scar tissue to have a chance to form in those penile blood vessels.

Yes DRs orders.Your right.Went to visit my URO just for a hello,first visit since my SBRT as he didnt know I went the CK route.He said I made a good choice.But he told me that I got to use it or lose it.He is 100% agrees with viagra.So Im giving the little guy a workout so to speak.I dont want no scar tissue even at 64 to cause any problems.So far I feel very lucky in my choice of therapy.I cant thank you enough for all of your input that you given to me and all of us.SemperFi

0311-I'm tracking about the same, with slightly more GI effects than you but improving. GU effects minor and about gone. No Viagra--Dr. King discouraged that--but lots of exercise in that department. My GF is due in two weeks, and she is enthusiastic about both prostaglandin and hitting it hard before the drought. Like you, I'm grateful to all, and particularly Tall Allen, for their help, and grateful I could take some time to investigate my options. Semper Fi.

I do not recall asking Dr Chris King's opinion but my medical oncologist in Marina Del Rey Dr Jeff Turner an associate of Dr. Mark Scholz and Dr. Richard Lam advised that I continue Viagra to prevent atrophy

Great to hear 0311! Please keep the updates in your experiences coming... You are one of the guys I'm following with particular interest as you arrived at the same decision I would have given your journey.

As others say, hopefully this is now a speed bump in your rear view mirror.
