What an amazing weekend we had! Thanks Sonny for hosting the spring 2016 GFMPH - what a fantastic time! This post is just to let people here know what a great time this is, and suggest some of our forum friends consider joining us at the fall event.

GFMPH? What's that? "Good for Men's Prostate Health", is a gathering held twice a year. This is a chance to actually meet people we get to know on this forum. It is a wonderful time, full of laughter and joy, celebrating life. I could never describe it very well, but here's one person's description that's quite good:

We were just in Florida, near Titusville, for the fall GFMPH. Fantastic time, great food, great friends, great fun!

If you've never been to one, it's worth it. In fact, it could be life changing.

This was my second GFMPH, and the first one my wife attended. She had a terrific time, and for me, as was the case when I attended the first one, in Rochester last September, I was inspired by the knowledge, strength and positivity I found among the group.

I would highly recommend attending one, especially if you are new to the forum, and the journey that is PC. As Redwing said, it can be life changing

We also attended. I have been to every one of the gatherings except for the first one. The friendships that have resulted are incredible. The entire event is so positive and upbeat. I am so thankful to WorriedGuy for starting these gatherings. I plan on being in Rochester last weekend in September.

By the way the 11 hr drive back to Louisiana ended up being 14.5 hrs. I got stuck in road repair and and accident.

Still would do it all over again. Oh that right I will drive to Rochester. :)

Karen and I had our usual good time at GFMPH and look forward to attending in Rochester NY the last week of September.

Kudos to all three host couples for keeping the tradition going.

We look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones later this year.

Sonny and Sherry are great sports and even held a Shave Sonny's head event so Sonny gets the last laugh on chemo that he starts next month. You can't lose hair you don' have.

Jess and I had such a great time , really hated to leave but I'm sure eventually Sonny & Sherry would of ask us to leave (ha) .

See you guys and hopefully some newbies in September in Rochester.

My wife Lorna and I also had a wonderful time seeing old friends and making new ones. Where else could you go and meet strangers and then make lifelong friendships in one weekend.

I thank Worried Guy, Cajun Jeff and Sonny for holding these gatherings. I hope to make it to Worried Guy's and Cajun Jeff's in the future.

GFMPH is one of the positives of having prostate cancer and joining Healing Well.
