Currently receiving #2.....taxotere and carboplatin....hopefully this may be easier this go round....tax reduced by 20% because of increasing neuropathy.Also hemoglobin down to 8.4 and hematocrit at 28. So my onc says 2units blood in the morning. This should really help with the fatigue and the crash...more to follow.

All my support --- you know you've got my support --- you're a veteran of the treatment process by now --- watch out for the high tides and low tides brought on by the "chemo crash" after this treatment ---

You'll ride the waves and keep on surfin' ... right into the summer season ...

Hi Ziggy,

Good luck with the second round. I am right behind you. Today is the first day that I have felt decent since my infusion on 5/9. Lost nine lbs since last thursday when mouth sores showed up. I have not been able to eat. Been using Peroxyl mouth wash like I owned stock in the company. Started L Lysine today. Supposed to prevent mouth sores.

I had pretty much made up my mind that if the second round was going to be anything like the first there would be no second round. But the damage is done I suppose.
