Anyone experienced Tinnitus ( Ear Clicks ) as side effects for taking Xtandi or Bllod Pressure pill?

I was on xtandi(enzalutamide) with Zoladex(goserelin) for 6 months.

I was dizzy, from mild to wild; for a while and I started with the tinnitus after about 3 weeks. For the first week or 2 the ringing would vary and at times was getting extreme. It calmed down and to this day I still have it mildly. Left ear only also. During the start when it was varying in intensity I was having what seemed to be an associated hearing loss, but I think it was more of a clogged type feeling.

I did see a hearing specialist who said I did have a little loss in the left ear and he believed it to be medicine related He said he had seen it often before with different cancer type meds. At NIH the Dr. said he had not really seen that side effect before but I have no doubt that it was from the meds, just by the way the different side effects were coming and going this one flowed in as some of the others were flowing out. I made it clear to them that I wanted to continue with the meds and the trial I was in because I thought the potential benefits outweighed the risks. Also I had some tinnitus in my 20's and some mild hearing loss in the same ear so The mild ringing was not something I was unfamiliar with and I thought as long as it stayed mild I could get used to it again. I have to admit I was very concerned when it would vary at first because it would get pretty bad but fortunately only for short periods.

I got the impression that the Drs. I spoke to at NIH were not convinced that it was a side effect of the meds. I did meet someone else at a later date who was taking Xtandi and he also got the tinnitus and I think I recall seeing it as a potential side effect for some on the internet.

I do not really know what you mean by 'clicking' as I would describe mine as a constant buzzing or ringing. Mine was and is usually with me all day but I can ignore it for the most part except for the beginning when it was getting bad. Maybe we are experiencing something different. I hope your Uncle is having some success with the drug, I had great success with what we were trying to accomplish so it was worth the ride for me.

I see Rampiril ( blood pressure pills has side effects ), he will stop them for few days and see
