Axumin (fluciclovine F-18) PET/CT scan - at what PSA level? Is this new?

Saw this today. It looks like the FDA approved a new tracer for PET/CT scans. Does anyone know anything about this? (Mostly curious, too early for me, but maybe someday....). Not much detail in the article.

My husband was in a study a few years ago at Stanford having the Pet/ Ct scan F-18/ FDG
It used sodium floride with FDG. Don't know if the tracer is what is explained in your article.

It did discover 1 met to his T-11 spine. He then started HT Lupron, and has been on it or Degarelix intermittenly every since.
