Will be snowbirding in Calif -- any HW brothers there?

Actually, we found a very nice condo (thanks airbnb) -- well, we THINK it's nice -- in Santa Monica. It is within walking distance from our daughter's place...and walking distance from UCLA Radiology. I will be consulting with Dr. King there and most likely will be doing SBRT to a hot lymph node there.

Anyway, this year we will once again be there all of February, and then 2 more weeks (condo not booked for the last 2 weeks; we plan to go wherever the heck we want to -- probably San Diego area and maybe Las Vegas if there are some decent shows -- if I go to Vegas, I'll be playing some tournament poker).

Mel, since the beach areas down here attract many more people during the summer during the winter, I think you'll actually be blessed with less traffic and better restaurant seating than usual. (That said, it sounds like you'll actually be walking when you're in town. Now that's a strange concept in these parts...)

In every job I have sans this last one I've had since 2003, I generally enjoyed my work, but hated some aspects of my job (usually involving the expenditure of time and paperwork that we all knew was a waste!).

For some reason, in this job, I guess everything came together. No garbage aspects. Great colleagues. I can honestly say that I have happily looked forward to going to work each day.

I guess in life we all deal with good and bad.

For me, PC has been the bad, although I realize it could be much worse.
