Jan. PSA and most recent liver test results

Hubby just heard from his doctor's office about his most recent PSA. It is up again. Still low, but up for the third time in a row. It is now 0.04 (it has gone up 0.01 each time). I know that is not huge compared to some, but it is big enough! PA said he probably has a year to a year and a half before they "have" to consider something other than HDT.
They also did a liver test to see if the enzymes had dropped. They had. They will do another test in about 2 weeks to see if they went back up. If so, it is definitely the Lupron /Eligard that is causing it. Then we will need to revisit alternatives again.
Another 'fun' (not) day in the Prostate Cancer saga.

He was simply relaying what the urologist (and hubby's PCP) had ordered because doctor was out of town. He's been having high enzyme reading for a while and just 'fired' his liver specialist due to total disregard for communication and seeming incompetence. Both urologist and PCP felt that getting a test just before his most recent HDT injection (in other words the furthest possible from his previous one) and then about 3-4 weeks later (when the injection would be at 'full force' in the liver) would be a good gauge of whether this was a side effect of the injections (very rare, but VERY, VERY serious) or due to something else.

My reference was to the PA's own opinion of how long you may have to wait before they...not the PA decide to try something else{I stand by the post in its entirety}...your prescription reference...was a classic strawman argument to reflect your umbrage at the levity of my post but in a subtle way..hence implying I was impugning the seriousness of your hubby's enzymes...What is interesting is and I may be mistaken...but I believe it was you who once referenced one of my posts of levity...maybe not directed at you...but somewhere...as a relief from serious...gravity...
You may want to put me on ignore...but just do it...a notification of such would be somewhat of a...well it would be silly... Note: I respond not to words...but to the communication of same...always have...always will...not warm and fuzzy...ps... for the peanut gallery...yes I know I hone words...razor thin...but a miss is a miss no matter how close...thats why they are called in aviation circles...a near miss...and since metaphor is all...well you know......

Boloidat- no problem with your response, just trying to clarify. The statement about how long before having to change therapy was also from the doc- not PA's opinion.
