"Would revealing test results have changed cancer outcome?"The answer to the "subject line question" is: nobody knows, but probably not. While the final outcome will likely not change, what
may or may not change is the longevity, and/or the "perceived survival time" (but this is not really what I think you are speaking of when you say "outcome").
