I expect you've already seen this study - I always seem to be a little behind the eight ball on this stuff, but just in case... It's an interesting read (well it was for us anyway).

In summary, our study demonstrates that the nontoxic dietary supplement 4-MU displays potent chemopreventive and therapeutic efficacy against localized and metastatic PCa in preclinical models by targeting HA signaling. A limitation of our study is that the efficacy of 4-MU was evaluated in preclinical models only. Although, the doses of 4-MU used in the mouse models were comparable with those in human use as a dietary supplement and 4-MU was found to be nontoxic, phase I clinical trials are warranted for dose optimization and evaluation of toxicity (if any) at the therapeutic dose.

Keep an eye out for that clinical trial, Jaybee. It might be a chance for GG to participate in groundbreaking stuff. We went to Portland for phase 1 immunotherapy trial when Gary didn't qualify for Provenge, with no regrets. It was called DRibbles. What a terrible name for PCa drug, huh? But, I kept saying "Why shouldn't Gary be involved in the big breakthrough?" Heck, most of the time we were there we hooked up with family and friends and vacationed. Even took the grandkid once. Trying to get one that works for you even remotely nearby is the big trick.
