My sig is updated but I had a reoccurrence in 14-15. I finally got Tricare to pay for the Varian Tru-Beam treatment. Seemed to be successful as I went quickly back down to undetectable where I have been since.
My Testosterone level dumped after surgery leaving me with bouts of depression, anger, no libido etc etc. None of that really returned but being I had not been clean none of the Drs would do anything with the T levels. My Onc wanted me to be undetectable for 12 months before he would consider hormone replacement. Well I got there and they let me start it. Understanding this would be stopped if my PSA ever started to creep. I have told people there is a huge difference from surviving and living. I am living again. I been on T therapy for three months and feel like me again. THANK GOD. GOD IS GOOD.
Depression is real during all this. Its not something they ever really mention, I wish they would put you on counseling also as a part of the treatment just to make sure. Just my 2 cents there
