I posted here a few months ago about my husband, who has GL9. He had his RP at Johns Hopkins and also had salvage radiation at Dattoli since his PSA was persistent. He was able to have the trial PET/PSMA test at Hopkins prior to radiation, which showed several micro-mets in his bones. Those were also radiated per recommendation from Hopkins. He is currently on ADT and various other meds and his last two PSA tests were <0.1.
We wanted to thank Tall Allen for recommending Dr. Antonarakis at Johns Hopkins. My husband met with him today, was very pleased, and will be continuing as his patient. Since my husband’s maternal grandfather and uncle both died of PCa he will be having genetic testing shortly. Dr. Antonarakis said that he would treat my husband more aggressively if his PCa is hereditary. I don’t post often but I do read the forum almost every day and am thankful you are here, so wanted to update and thank you.
