New PSA Test

Just received my recent PSA test of .11. While it was from a different lab, it was .10 in Oct/06 and .07 in Jan 06, so it appears to be on the rise. So another test in July and if it rises then we move for radiation. My PSA was <.09 in Jan 2007 but this is the lowest Group Health tracks. I am planning on having radiation late this summer pending another rise in PSA.

Oct 2016. Just spoke with my oncologist and he said my doubling time is 20 months, very slow, and said that I could radiate now or wait and retest in 6 months, would have no impact on treatment outcome. So I decided to retest this summer and then take it from there. However, there is little doubt that radiation is in my future. I will turn 71 in a few months.
