Still in rehab with spine injury.
Will attempt to fly home Sunday.

Still wheelchair bound, trying hard to improve hand and leg functions amid assorted setbacks.

On 2/3, did PSA at Dr. Lam's. It was about 9.4 (can't remember exactly), so back on HT in mid-Feb. Also did SBRT to one hot lymph node.

Did PSA about a week ago.

It is 0.36.
Great decrease I think. Certainly in right direction.

Too busy with spinal injury right now.

Great news on the PSA.

Seems like you're making progress on the injury.

Being home should be nice.

Love to see a post from you! I wish it was all celebration for that wonderful drop in PSA, but I can almost hear the frustration you're feeling at this painfully slow recovery from the injury. I'm sure being home will help some, but it sounds like it's going to be a long and agonizing process. Hang in there dear brother. We are all continuing to hold you near and dear.

Hi Mel and glad to see you posting. Best of luck with the whole crummy spinal image. (For the record, I'm sure "crummy" is much too mild a word.) Hope the flights goes well, that rehab continues to keep you in good shape and that your PSA stays in check while on HT. Hang in there and thanks for reporting in. Lots of folks here rooting for you!

Thanks for the update Mel. At least you got some great control with the ADT. Hope the other issues Dr Weiss helped with are also under control. Take care buddy. -JR

Good progress on the PSA front, although I know there is no such thing as a free lunch there either.

Tuff break all around...the psa drop is very significant...PT sounds like no fun...but ya gotta do it...and find the good beyond...you may remember a post a did a while back about crap happening to us as we age and how in the state of increasing age...stuff can happen...and some times folks...just turn it off...and go down from there...Just a heartfelt reminder...of that post...keep on and a bit ahead of the waves lip...when you sense your losing it...dance on the board...up a bit...back a bit... a turn here...some pressure there do not step back in a malaise of relief...you have not come all this way for that...just frinken use your whole lifes taughts and passion...thas why you are here...

The legend of Robert Bruce and the spider comes to mind. We all know the tale. Following a battle loss to the English, he is sitting forlorn, hiding in a cave, thinking of giving up his quest to set up Scotland as a free nation. Then his attention is drawn to a nearby spider, who, despite repeated failures, keeps at it and at it until it eventually succeeds in building its web. Bruce takes inspiration from that, returns to his mission, and eventually succeeds, with Scotland becoming an independent nation in 1314.

Not that you need any inspiration like that, Mel, but perhaps remembering even such a simple story may prove helpful now and then.

Compiler- Life has thrown you a few extra curves. I haven't been here on this forum that long, but I've read many of your posts.
