Andrew is right. I forgot which radiation you've chosen, but the treatments were a walk in the park after the fiducial implant. Yeah - that CT scan with the catheter in place was "weird" and it felt like I was passing hot oil with broken glass in it for a day or so, but I've had those before. The implant procedure, to me, seems that it could unnerve some guys who aren't used to becoming a lab experiment on occasion.
The individual radiation treatments soon become routine. Whatever the patient prep protocol is for your clinic, they will help you to make it work for you. My SBRT treatments were 45-50 minutes each, and I came to enjoy my morning naps before work!
