All the CRPC guys should read this article.....Here we have a drug, Ranolazine, approved by the FDA in 2008 to treat angina, that potentially could extend the effectiveness of Xtandi for a long period....If there ever was an opportunity to fast-track a new treatment, this is it...Here is a hot-link to the same article..

The retail price for this drug is aprox. $250.00 for a months supply..

I sent this article to my MO and he was very intrigued. He knows the group that has done the study very well. His concerns right now are no clinical trials in humans, but we are going to give it consideration.

There IS one patient being treated for prostate cancer at the U.C. Cancer Center where the study was done. By chance, he is on both Xtandi and Ranexa ....While not part of a study or trial, his journey is being watched with great interest...
