MLB wears baby blue for prostate cancer awareness!

I have noticed that not much has ever been done to promote PC awareness. Turned the tube on for the Mariners game and immediately noticed the baby blue hats and gear..
Way to go MLB!

about time. I think we talked about this a Year ago. It's amazing that the NFL, NBA, NHL, AND MLB, never acknowledged the fight against pc, like the NFL does with breast cancer in October. After all, men are the biggest part of their fan base.

Yes thanks for pointing that out. PC should be recognized as much as BC. We need to see more of it. Baseball is my favorite sport, and if I remember last year, I think the MLB donated a certain amount to PC research last year ....so much for every home run hit...Bombs away...It's something!

I was listening to a broadcast with someone (I didn't catch who the guy was affiliated with) promoting PCa awareness and was thrilled that the sport was finally giving it recognition. He was also promoting regular check ups and PSA testing. And although it wasn't necessarily a bad thing, he spent a lot of time talking about the benefits of broccoli.
Hey, it's a start, and that's what's needed. But for some reason I thought the color is dark blue. I'm a Giant's fan and so baby blue is good...If you get my drift.

Thanks for the information and "Good for MLB". I kinda like the way the uniforms and hats look with the baby blue.
