Well, it seems I now have DE or at least the symptoms of DE. Has anyone else had this type of problem after PC treatment? What can be done about it?

DE = Delayed Ejaculation ie. intercourse that goes on for 30 minutes or more without being able to ejaculate.

While some might think this would be a good thing it's not all that good.

I was warned about this possibility in prep for my CyberKnife SBRT treatment. I do have it, but to a lesser extent than yours. Things just seem to take a bit longer and a bit more "work."

Sorry to hear that yours is more pronounced.

BTW - I can't speak for your case, but in mine, the 'E' part of things is just a tiny fraction of what it used to be (maybe 10% as much).

I have a similar situation, erectile function is fine, about 80-90% of what it was before SURGERY, not radiation. BUT, getting to the "E"ndgme, I.e. Finishing the job, definitely takes longer. Even more so when the Mrs is not "available" and I'm depending in myself, and my "imagination.

I just assumed it was part aftereffect of surgery, part being a few years older, and maybe prt doubling my dose of Metroprolol, a beta blocker, and maybe part going in Zoloft

Mine's just the opposite. I'm MUCH quicker to orgasm than before surgery. It's almost .... weird

I'm talking 20-30 seconds here....for the whole act...

Hell, I had that problem even before my robotic surgery or my radiation.

Ugh, Prato - You had to remind me about the demon Metoprolol. That stuff messes with everything. Try to run or work out when taking it to see what I mean. On top of that, my cardio tells me I will have to take it for the rest of my life.

Sorry Pax. I know. Since I doubled up on the dose, I have a hard time getting my heart rate much above 105 when I do my daily walk. Even on the uphill climb.i too will probably be on it for life, but I'm determined to get in good enough shoe to convince the doc to let me go back to 1x a day instead of 2
