So back in March of this year I was diagnosed with a very small amount of G6 PC, after an MRI showed a small lesion and a Prolaris test showed slightly more aggressive I went ahead with an RRP. The procedure went well, and they believe they got it all. It was only in 1% of my prostate, but it was closer to the edge than then middle and it turned out to be G7 4+3 and not G6 as previously thought.
Post surgery I got the catheter out after 6 days and was pretty much dry immediately. I can hold my bladder full and empty it at will, even during the night. I do get some dribbles though, if I hold it too long and after emptying when there's not as much pressure to get the last bit out (I don' want to push) so a quick shake doesn't really do the trick. I wear one pad a day and when I change it I can't really see evidence of it being used. So in that regard I'm feeling pretty lucky. I do go more frequently, and I always feel more urgency than I did.
At the 2 week mark I had 3 days where I appeared to occasionally pee out small chunks of sutures, or scabs or something with a little bleeding. After that three days is cleared up. I was told it's likely the scabbing or sutures coming off as part of the healing.
I am supposed to be taking 1/5 dose of Viagra daily, and 1 full dose with stimulation once a week for penile rehabilitation. But do to a really bad hemorrhoid I developed two weeks ago, I have not been taking the Viagra at all. I took the first dose and it sent blood to my junk, but also to the hemorrhoid and that MF exploded and had me bed ridden for 3 days. It was worse than the RRP. That said, I am able to get erections from 50% - 80% of normal without drugs. I was even able to penetrate my wife no problem (although we did not complete the act due to my still healing I just wanted to see if it would work).
I have orgasm'd 3 times (doctor's orders), twice through m@sturbation, and once with oral from my wife. All three times were painful. I had pinpoint pain at the base of the penis behind the pelvic bone towards the left side like above my left hip, and then I had inflammation type pain in the perineum area (bike seat pain) that lasted about
24 hours. I see the doctor for a follow up tomorrow so I'll ask about
that, so far it's the only thing that has me a little worried.
Overall I feel pretty good, that I'm healing quickly and am ahead of the game in both continence and ED. Still very sore and tender throughout my abdomen from the damage done, but I'm still only at 3 weeks.
